Mary’s Easy Homemade Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon Cognac Barrel-aged Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine cream cheese and butter. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Add sifted confectioners’ sugar and vanilla. Reduce speed to medium-low and mix until combined. If you don’t have a stand mixer, don’t worry—you can use an electric hand mixer and a mixing bowl!
