An easy, self-serve cocktail for the Super Bowl? Oh, yeah!

Super fun: making a special cocktail for Super Bowl Sunday. Not so much fun: sitting around all day and serving it up for your guests! I don’t know about you, but I’d rather watch the game (fingers crossed that the Bears will be there in 2023). This Super Bowl punch is the perfect compromise: serve it up just before game time and let your guests help themselves! Adults only for this one—sorry kids. It’s made with ice cold beer, vodka and refreshing citrus to crisp it up.

Tips for serving up your Super Bowl Punch:

I recommend using large pitchers to serve the punch. Let your guests grab their own ice and then pour un-iced punch from the pitchers. This will keep it from diluting for maximum flavor — trust me, you’ll want every last drop. Serve the blueberry garnish on the side for a lasting impression.

Super Bowl Punch Recipe

Refreshing, simple to make, and the easiest drink ever to serve. Let your guests help themselves to my delicious Super Bowl Punch… but beware! You might be tempted to serve it all year long.

Ingredients

Punch
  • 3 cups vodka, chilled
  • 2 (12-ounce) bottles beer (I like Miller High Life), chilled
  • 2 (6-ounce) frozen limeade containers, thawed
  • 6 cups club soda, chilled
  • A generous dash of bitters
  • 1 orange, sliced into rings, seeds removed
  • 1 lime, sliced into rings
  • Ice
Garnish
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the vodka, beer, limeade, and bitters. Stir to combine.
  2. Add the club soda. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Add the orange and lime rings.
  4. Serve the punch in a large pitcher (or several if your pitchers are small). Keep a full ice bucket and the blueberry garnish nearby so guests can serve themselves.
