ABC 7 Saturday Morning News

I was very excited to be on ABC7 Chicago’s Eyewitness Saturday morning News to promote my debut cookbook, A Gift of Cookies: Recipes to Share with Family & Friends (which you can get here) and to spread the word about the great work being done by the Hephzibah Children’s Association and the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society.

It was my first time appearing on television, and as you can imagine I was pretty nervous. But I’d like to thank Stacey Baca and all of the staff at ABC7 for making me feel incredibly welcome, and I think it turned out pretty well! I was especially pleased that so many of the production team turned their hand to trying some of the recipes from the book! As you can see from the segment they did a fantastic job, and illustrated just how easy it is to make beautiful looking madeleines, biscotti, lemon knots and more in your own kitchen (with a little help from my book!)
