An Afternoon of Sparkle, Sweets, and Giving Back
Join me on Thursday, December 4th, from noon to 3pm at Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue in Chicago for a holiday event filled with joy, good company, and a few sweet surprises.
I’ll be in the jewelry department signing copies of both of my cookbooks, sharing some of my favorite homemade treats, and connecting with friends like you. If you’re looking for meaningful holiday gifts, this is a wonderful time to stop by—100% of proceeds from all cookbook sales go directly to children’s charities right here in our community (learn more about the charities below).
I’m also thrilled to be joining my dear friend Roseanne Karmes, the talented designer behind Sydney Evan Jewelry. Her collection of charm necklaces, bracelets, and more is all about celebrating personal meaning and positivity with a little bit of timeless glamor.
Come celebrate the season with us! I’d love to see you there.
When: Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm
Where: Neiman Marcus, 737 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 (Find us in the jewelry section!)
Did I mention my friend Roseanne Karmes—creator of the Sydney Evan jewelry line—will be there too?
Roseanne Karmes, founder of Sydney Evan Jewelry, is known for her iconic beaded bracelets, charm necklaces, and magical designs that reflect love, energy, and personal expression. I’m so proud to call Roseanne a friend, and I’ve always loved the sparkly joy her work brings to the world. Thank you so much to Neiman Marcus and the Sydney Evan team for welcoming me into your space for this holiday celebration.
In Pursuit of the Extraordinary
Founded in 1907 by a family of visionaries, Neiman Marcus has become a destination for luxury, style, and self-expression. What began as a dream to bring the world’s finest fashion to Texas has grown into a nationally recognized name known for its curated designer collections and exceptional customer service. More than a century later, Neiman Marcus continues to celebrate individuality and deliver extraordinary experiences, one customer at a time. Big thanks to the Magnificent Mile location for hosting this event!
The Sweetest Gifts Give Back
When you purchase one of my cookbooks, you’re helping support two local organizations that are near and dear to my heart. These books were originally created to pass down my favorite recipes to my kids, but they’ve become something much bigger. They’re gifts that tell a story, support a cause, and help build a stronger, healthier community. I couldn’t be prouder to donate 100% of cookbook proceeds to these amazing organizations.
Hephzibah Children’s Associations
Hephzibah Children’s Association has been part of the Oak Park community since 1897. Their work goes far beyond temporary care—they provide long-term support for children and families through foster care licensing, after-school programs, and a loving group home for kids who need a safe place to grow.
Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society
And then there’s the Oak Park River Forest Infant Welfare Society, whose IWS Children’s Clinic makes sure every child has access to essential healthcare. Their compassionate team delivers pediatric medical, dental, and behavioral health services to families who might otherwise go without.
